Managing water use is an important part of the South Australian Government's 4-way strategy to secure water for our future. All South Australians have a part to play.

The Home Rebate scheme has been introduced to encourage South Australian households to achieve greater water savings inside and outside the home.

Rebates are available for approved water efficient products purchased on or after 1 November 2007.

Water efficient garden goods eligible for a rebate include:
* Organic mulch or compost * Soil wetting agents
* Tap timers * Compost bins
* Soil moisture sensors or rain sensors
